Corruption prevention and integrity management are
essential to upkeep clean and effective building management
and keep at bay corruption and malpractices that will
inflate management costs and fees, or even jeopardize
the safety and health of occupants. Building management
organizations, including owners' corporations, owners'
committees, mutual aid committees and property management
companies should formulate and promulgate integrity
guidelines to ensure their members/staff abide by the
law and avoid conflict of interest.
