As building management involves substantial work, very often,
owners' corporations (OCs) have to employ caretakers, cleaners,
plumbers and electricians etc, to assist in their daily work.
The existing legislation has clearly defined the rights and
obligations of both the employers and the employees, so OCs
should be aware of their legal obligations in the capacity
as an employer.
