The Panel of Advisors on Building Management Disputes was established in October 2011 to provide owners involved in building management disputes with impartial and authoritative advice. The Panel comprises 20 professionals of different background (e.g. lawyers, accountants, engineers, architects, surveyors and property managers) appointed by the Director of Home Affairs. They would take turn to sit on the Panel to hear persistent and difficult BM cases referred by District Offices.
