Workshop on Tree Management
(28 & 29 August 2014 / 4 & 5 September 2014)

To enable members of residents' organisations as well as staff of property management companies to have general knowledge of the management of trees within the confines of their buildings / estates and to understand how to identify problematic trees, the Home Affairs Department assisted the Tree Management Office (TMO) of the Development Bureau to organise four sessions of Workshop in August and September 2014. In addition to the expert from the TMO, representatives from the International Society of Arboriculture Hong Kong Chapter, Hong Kong Federation of Insurers and Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies have talked about tree management and related subjects such as third party risk insurance.
